What Miyagi Stores

Miyagi stores account information, training plans, session logs, chat messages, notification preferences, device tokens for push notifications, and coach memory used to provide adaptive coaching.

Voice notes are uploaded for transcription. Miyagi stores the transcript and structured coaching interpretation, not raw audio after upload processing unless a future feature explicitly asks for retention and you opt in.

How Data Is Used

Your data is used to authenticate you, show your training notebook, adapt workouts, respond to chat, send reminders and check-ins, and keep the service reliable and safe.

Miyagi may send your messages, training data, workout history, coach memory, and other coaching context to third-party AI providers such as Anthropic and OpenAI to generate replies, summarize memory, evaluate coach quality, classify safety-sensitive requests, and improve the reliability of Miyagi's coaching experience.

These AI providers process that information under their own API, privacy, safety, and data-retention policies. Their standard API policies may include temporary retention for abuse monitoring, safety enforcement, debugging, or legal compliance, unless Miyagi has a separate agreement or setting that changes those terms. Miyagi does not intentionally opt in to provider model training on user data unless this policy is updated to say so.

Current provider policy references include Anthropic's data-retention information and OpenAI's API data controls. Provider policies can change, so those pages are the source of truth for provider-side handling.

Raw chat is not exposed in admin product views by default.

Health And Fitness Data

Miyagi is a coaching product, not a medical provider. It may store training-relevant context such as soreness, injuries, cycle-aware programming preferences if you opt in, recovery notes, and goals. This data is private to your account.

Data Sharing

Miyagi does not sell personal data. Data may be shared with service providers that operate the app, such as hosting, database, email, push notification, transcription, and AI infrastructure providers. Those providers may process and retain data as needed to provide their services, enforce security and safety rules, meet legal obligations, and support service reliability.

Your Choices

You can request help, correction, export, or deletion by contacting support. Some operational records may be retained as needed for security, debugging, or legal obligations.
